Cascade Server is Agile
From licensing to scalability and services, Cascade Server provides you with the flexibility you need.
Technology-agnostic
Cascade Server is completely platform-agnostic. You can run the application on Windows, Linux, Solaris or MacOS. The database backend can be powered by MySQL, SQL Server or Oracle. So whether you are a MIcrosoft shop, an Oracle/Java shop or a subscriber of the open source philosophy, you will be able to run Cascade Server without a hitch. Check out the technical specifications.
Support of XSLT and Velocity
Cascade Server allows you to use both XSLT and Velocity (even on the same page), so you can determine what works best for you. While XSLT is a popular transformation language, we added Velocity due to its extremely low learning curve, easy debugging, and high efficiency. We also continue to add Velocity tools to make it even more intuitive and easy to use.
Hosted License
Also available: hosted Cascade Server licenses. Unlike SaaS (Software as a Service), you get to decide when you want to upgrade your instance. Each of our hosted instances is dedicated to one client in order to give you maximum flexibility. For a flat yearly fee, we will host Cascade Server for you, create nightly back-ups of your database and handle upgrades for you.

Unlimited Sites
Cascade Server doesn't fence you in. You can create as many sites as you need (depending on your server performance), and publish content to one or more sites (and servers) at a time. And with content reuse and sites, sharing content across pages, page types and sites has never been easier.
Unlimited Users, Groups and Roles
You can have as many users in the system as you need to, and set up your user permissions as granularly as you want. You can use pre-built or create custom workflows to accommodate any type of approval process that you need for specific pages.
